Ways to cope with stress

  • Yoga and Meditation. Yoga helps to connect mind, body and spirit. Practise yoga to improve fitness, better postures and reduce stress,
  • Healthy and Balanced diet. A balanced diet is diet which gives your body the right amount of protiens, vitmanins, minerals and nutrients it needs to function correctly. Have regular intake of fresh fruits & vegetables, nuts, whole grains and legumes.
  • Exercise and Sleep. Research indicates that exercise does, in fact, help you fall asleep more quickly and improves sleep quality.
  • Avoid excessive alcohol and tobacco. Alcohol and tobacco increases the risk of cancers, lung diease and heart diesease.
  • Avoid news stories. The best way to avoid news stories is keeping yourself engaged through constructive activities.
  • Make time to unwind. Try to do some other activities you enjoy like gardening, listening to music etc.
  • Connect with others. Talk with people whom you trust, about your concerns and how you are feeling.
  • Connect with your community. While social distancing measures are in place, try connecting online, through social media, or by phone or mail.
